I was looking for a special bottle for a bourbon affeciando colleague who was moving on to another career. My experience with the Rare Whiskey Shop was 5++++ stars! From ordering to shipping, the process was simple and flawless. Even got a call from them confirming my shipping timeframe and delivery time. This rare bottle arrived when it was expected, and in perfect condition. The packaging was bomb proof!! I've since ordered from them again and experienced the same great service. If you are looking for a special bottle, this is the place you need to go to. Simply the best!!

The Rare Whiskey Shop is as good as it ever could be. Prices are reasonable, and they know how to pack a bottle for shipping! My only problem with them is that I wish they knew that "Whiskey", spelled with an "e", is foir Irish whisky only. But I still give them five stars!

Purchase this for my husband for his collection.

The 20-year Pappy is the best whiskey that I've ever tasted. I bought it as a Christmas gift for my daughter because she heard about it from a friend of hers. She said that one day, she hoped she could taste what a $2000, 15-year-old whiskey would taste like. I'm the type of dad who'll get my daughter whatever she wants if I can. Although it took me a while to work up to it, I decided to go for the 20-year-old Pappy because she's my little girl. I also read the book "Pappyland" which gave me an appreciation of the history and commitment that goes into producing this bourbon. I think it's like a hot air balloon ride; something worth doing at least once to have the experience. If you like it, it's always there for you to revisit. And yes, I'll probably end up ordering a bottle for myself.

Also, the product is legit, I have had the bourbons I ordered many times before and can vouch for their authenticity, so the guys and Rare Whiskey Shop are doing their due diligence (I know one of the big worries out there is many people wishing to order question whether or not the item is authentic - not a worry here). My rare whiskey was delivered right to my door, and I did not have to stand in line at the liquor store. What a bonus! I just came home, unwrapped the box and poured myself a nice glass of bourbon.

Super easy to order and the delivery was quick. The bottle was wrapped and boxed unbelievably - nothing was going to damage that bottle! I also loved the personal note that came with the bottle.
