The Garrison Brothers distillery was established in Hye, Texas in 2006 by Dan Garrison. Garrison Brothers was the first distillery outside Kentucky or Tennessee to be granted a permit to distil bourbon, and is the oldest legal bourbon distillery in Texas. This is a single barrel Texas straight bourbon and it was distilled in 2011 using #1 Panhandle White corn from the harvest of the year prior, grown on farms in Dallam County. It was aged three years.
