The service was super & very easy—They even included a thank you card! I bought a bottle of Midleton Very Rare for my daughter & me to enjoy a sip after her wedding and was very pleased to find it after striking out locally, not to mention it was 20% less!

I was looking for a special bottle for a bourbon affeciando colleague who was moving on to another career. My experience with the Rare Whiskey Shop was 5++++ stars! From ordering to shipping, the process was simple and flawless. Even got a call from them confirming my shipping timeframe and delivery time. This rare bottle arrived when it was expected, and in perfect condition. The packaging was bomb proof!! I've since ordered from them again and experienced the same great service. The Rare Whiskey Shop is as good as it ever could be. Prices are reasonable, and they know how to pack a bottle for shipping! My only problem with them is that I wish they knew that "Whiskey", spelled with an "e", is foir Irish whisky only. But I still give them five stars!

The person who helped me was amazing! He provided the physical locations of their shops and guaranteed my satisfaction if I did business with them. He was totally right! Unbelieveable service! The first bottle arrived with a light leak so a second bottle was sent immediately, arriving I believe, the very next day. The result was two for one, and this was no inexpensive bottle: Blanton's Single Barrel at $264! Can't thank the Rare Whisky Shop enough! The entire experience was lovely. I spoke to Richard who was extremely helpful throughout. I ordered a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle and couldn't be happier. They started processing the shipping as soon as I placed the order and had I tracking number that night. The bottle showed up my house two days later in perfect condition. The packaging couldn't have been better; it had so many layers of cushioning that I would be shocked if flat out dropping it would even cause a problem. They even took great care to reinforce the cork with an easy-to-remove plastic saran(?), which I assume is to protect it from popping out due to thermal expansion (could be wrong). Overall I am extremely happy and will use The Rare Whiskey Shop for all my hard-to-find orders.

The websitte is not as helpful as it could be, but the staff at "The Rare Whiskey Shop" is all about getting it right and making sure the delivery goes well. I was impressed by their zeal to assist.
