Powers is an Irish whiskey brand with roots in a distillery founded in Dublin in 1791 by James Power. Initially operating as James Power and Son, it later became John Power & Son. The distillery, located on John's Lane, off Thomas Street, became known for its modern facilities and high-quality pot still whiskey.
