This fabulous old Glenlivet is in a class of it's own, but remains an incredible value considering it's age and pedigree. It can't be listed by the distillery name due to contractual obligations of the bottler, but I have no trouble telling you that this whisky comes from Scotland's most sellingest distillery. Expect crispy apple peal, soft ripe tropical fruit, cake frosting and vanilla. Soft round delicate and complex - there's no surprise why so many people love this special distillery.
Distilled on June 17, 1992, and bottled on October 30, 2018, this highly rated (approx. 87-88 points) whisky features notes of honey, peaches, malt, and wild flowers.
