Royal Lochnagar Distillers Edition 2012 is a special double matured release from Royal Lochnagar. Subtle and fresh, Royal Lochnagar has sweet malt, a pleasing citrus acidity on the palate and a fine, lingering finish. For the Distiller’s Edition, hand-selected casks were finished in old Muscat cask wood, its sweet, floral nature elegantly complementing the sandalwood accents of the malt and so revealing a deeper side of this regal whisky.
